We fabricated the exterior wall of this famous building that has become a landmark of Odaiba.
The massive globe consists of a number of small panels. These panels are made of titanium to avoid the rusting that could otherwise occur due to the building’s bayside location.
In order to fabricate the globe with a high degree of precision, we pioneered the use of 3D-CAD in our product engineering.
Titanium is a high-strength metal, making it difficult to process, but we used our accumulated expertise to produce this iconic design.
