The symbolic Marunouchi Building was completed in 2002, a reconstruction of the building that was first built in 1923.
One of the design intent was to infuse the buzzing energy of the area and its history. This intent is most evident in the bronze arches, a complete reconstruction of the entrance that was refurbished in 1935.
