POKKE, formally called Ueno KS building, sits a few streets away from the bustling Ameya-Yokocho. The building is wrapped in Aluminium expanded metal façade with pockets that house planters.
These 3D curved pockets are metal-worked by hand to ensure the consistency of the patterns.
